Hi Ann and Irene, I'm so glad you're both benefiting from this fund raiser - what a fantastic idea! My sister Ruth and I won't be able to join you - we'll be having our own Survivor Celebration with our mom (and dad, sisters, husbands, kids and one grandkid). Mom just finished 7 weeks of proton radiation in Boston on breast cancer which has metatasized in her brain. This followed her second mastectomy and months of chemo last year. So we're very excited to be celebrating Mom & Dad's 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Turkey. Have a great day and know that your support network stretches far and wide! We love you!

Ann. I don't know if I'll be there that weekend- we plan to be in Steamboat. But I totally support you and think you are an amazing person. What a fighter, and a fun person to boot! So I just wanted to buy the shirt to support the cause, and I'll be there if I'm in town. We teachers feel the need to FLEE once school is out!

I've been lucky enough to know Irene for almost 20 years. One of her greatest qualities is the ablility to see the positive in everything that life throws her way.
