Job Description
- We are seeking a highly experienced Database Engineer ? Principal with 10 to 15 years of hands-on expertise in designing, architecting, and managing large-scale database ecosystems across SQL, Azure, and NoSQL platforms including MongoDB and Redis, based out of our Pune office.
- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure cloud database services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Factory, with a strong ability to design resilient, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud-native data solutions.
- Proficiency in ETL pipeline design and implementation is essential, with experience in building robust data ingestion, transformation, and loading workflows that support enterprise-grade analytics and reporting needs.
- Experience working with CMDB (Configuration Management Database) systems is required, including integration with IT asset and service management platforms to ensure data accuracy, governance, and lifecycle management.
- The candidate should be proficient in Power BI for building enterprise dashboards and analytical reports, translating complex database outputs into actionable business intelligence for senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools including ChatGPT and other LLM-based tools to accelerate query optimization, data modeling documentation, and automated database health reporting will be a strong advantage.
- Candidates should demonstrate experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis, including schema design, indexing strategies, caching mechanisms, and performance tuning in high-throughput environments.
- This role requires a strategic mindset combined with strong technical depth, enabling the principal engineer to lead database architecture reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive database standardization across the organization.
