Role: Sr QA Engineer

The QA Engineer owns test strategy, test governance, and release readiness for enterprise applications. This role sets testing standards, guides automation tool choices, and coordinates onshore and offshore QA teams alongside engineering and business stakeholders, should have a documented test strategy, clear regression coverage for core business flows, and defined release-readiness criteria in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own test strategy, test plans, estimates, and test documentation for enterprise applications.
- Lead and coordinate onshore and offshore QA teams, setting testing standards and execution expectations.
- Evaluate and guide test automation using Tricentis Tosca, UiPath, Playwright, or Selenium, based on maintainability and product risk.
- Plan and oversee regression and end-to-end testing across web, API, database, and Salesforce applications.
- Verify data integrity through SQL-based checks and REST API testing.
- Assess release risk, track defects, and lead triage with engineering and product stakeholders.
- Partner with product owners and business SMEs to define test scope and acceptance criteria, and reinforce Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI to support shift-left practices.
